News and Updates (October 26, 2008):
Maura Tierney's final episode of ER, "The Book of Abby," aired on October 16th, 2008.
Ms. Tierney recently starred in the play "Three Changes" by Nicky Silver at Playwrights Horizons in New York City. The show ran from August 22nd to October 3rd, 2008. The cast also included Dylan McDermott and Scott Cohen.
NewsRadio: The Complete Series is available on DVD starting October 28th. The set doesn't include any additional material beyond the individual seasons and it is priced very affordably. If you'd prefer to buy individual seasons, here are Seasons 1&2, Season 3, Season 4, and Season 5.
Also out on DVD are Maura Tierney's first four seasons on ER: Season 6, Season 7, Season 8, Season 9
Maura Tierney was interviewed on Dave Foley's web talk show "Can't Sleep with Dave Foley."
From May 17th to July 6th, 2006, Maura Tierney co-starred in Neil LaBute's latest play, titled Some Girl(s), at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in New York City. Eric McCormack starred as a writer meeting up with a series of his ex-girlfriends, and the rest of the cast included Fran Drescher, Judy Reyes, and Brooke Smith. For more information, visit the MCC Theatre website.
Maura Tierney's next project will (hopefully) be My Dead Boyfriend, based on Arthur Nersesian's book Dogrun. It's the portrait of an aimless 29-year-old woman whose live-in boyfriend dies one day. Her husband Billy Morrissette wrote the adaptation, and ER's Anthony Edwards will direct. This project is no longer in development.
